The Flint Children's Museum contains interactive exhibits and activities designed for children between one and ten. Imagination and innovation are encouraged at the Center Stage and Recycled Rhythms area while Our Town allows youngsters to experience what it is like to shop at the store and learn about numbers in the process. Each month the museum has a theme, with special activities and programs that follow the topic; past themes have included Things That Go, Amazing Animals and Wacky Weather. It is located on the campus of Kettering University, west of downtown.
