A complex filled with educational and entertaining attractions, the Flint Cultural Center contains the Sloan Museum, the Robert T. Longway Planetarium, the Flint Institute of Music, the Fling Institute of Arts, the Flint Youth Theatre and The Whiting. Amongst these locations a wide range of programs for adults, families and children are offered from acting classes to science talks. It is near downtown Flint, between Mott Community College and the University of Michigan-Flint.
